Why IT Certification is Needed 컴퓨터 자격증 왜 따야만 하는가?
소위 sky란는 한국 3개 유명대학을 목표로 공부하라는 내용이며, 해서도 그러게 못되면 사회에서 스펙을 쌓아가라는 내용인데, 결국은 너무나도 현실적입니다. 저는 대학을 졸업하자마자 미국에 왔기에 한국기업에 다녀보지는 못햇지만, 서류심사를 하는데 있어서 왼쪽, 오른쪽으로 이력서를 나누게되는데 처음 sky대학을 나오지 않은 서류들은 왼쪽, sky대학을 나온 서류는 오른쪽, 그런데 더 놀라운 것은 HR담당자들이 왼쪽에 놓인 이력서는 보지도 않고 쓰레기통에 들어간다는 것입니다. 그게 현실이라고 하네요.
이번에 CCNA강의를 재차 들어봣는데요.. 이것 또한 장난이 아니네요... 인스럭터 말만따나 그 자격증 있으면 연봉 100,000불 부터 받는다는 말도 거짓은 아닐정도로 방대한 양의 지식과 경험이 요한다고 보겠습니다. 요즘처럼 IT 분야에 사람들이 많은 경우, 레저메가 많이 날아 들어오는데요..그 내용이 다소 과장되서 보내지는 경우가 있습니다. 저도 그런 경우를 경험해 봐서 아는데 서로가 시가낭비가 되더라구요. 그런데 여기서 중요한 사실은 그나마 자격증이 있는 사람들은 인터뷰 도중에 모든 질문에 답은 못하더라도, 어떻게 어디서 답을 구해오는지는 말해주더라구요.
이처럼, 생판 모르는 상황에서 사람을 구한다고 할때 가장 효과적으로 구하는 방법이 바로 sky직원을 뽑는 방식이 아닐까합니다. 학창시절 어떻게 시간을 보냈냐 하는게 나타나서, 일을 시키면 잘할거라는 간접적인 믿음이 있다는 것이지요. 이처럼 컴퓨터 업계에도 똑 같습니다. 아래 구인광고 의 예처럼, required라는 말처럼 A+ 라는 자격증이 없으면 처음부터 자격조건이 않되는 것이지요. 빌 게이트같은 컴퓨터 경력 20년이상 도사들도 지원자체가 않된다는 것입니다. 저또한 예전에 FAA 컨트렉터로 일했을때 기본 조건이 MCSA자격증이 있느냐는 것이었습니다. 그때제가 그 자격증이 없었더라면 서류자체에서 먼저 떨어 졌겟지요.
결론적으로 말해서, 남들과 비슷하거나 못할때 자신을 돗보일수 있는 방법은 이처럼 컴퓨터 자격증에 도전해 보라는 것입니다. 과거 제 경험에 비추어 볼때, 어떤 분들은 경험만 충분하면 된다고 하지만, 이에 더불어 컴퓨터 자격증을 갗고 있으므로 생겨나는 혜택은 아무도 무시 못한다는 것입니다.

Why IT Certification is Needed
The content suggests aiming to study at the so-called SKY universities, the three prestigious universities in Korea. If you can't achieve that, it advises building your resume in society, which is very realistic. I didn't work for a Korean company since I came to the U.S. right after graduating from university, but during document screening, resumes are divided into left and right piles. Resumes from non-SKY universities go to the left, and those from SKY universities go to the right. The surprising thing is that HR personnel don't even look at the resumes on the left and just throw them in the trash. That's the reality.
I recently retook the CCNA course, and it's no joke. As the instructor said, having that certification can earn you a salary starting at $100,000, which isn't a lie considering the vast amount of knowledge and experience required. With so many people in the IT field these days, many resumes come in, and sometimes the content is exaggerated. I've experienced this myself, and it ends up wasting everyone's time. However, the important fact is that those with certifications, even if they can't answer all the questions during an interview, can at least explain how and where to find the answers.
In this way, when hiring someone in an unknown situation, the most effective method might be to hire SKY graduates. It shows how they spent their school years, giving an indirect belief that they will do well at work. The same applies to the computer industry. As in the job advertisement example below, if you don't have the A+ certification, you don't meet the basic qualifications from the start. Even computer experts with over 20 years of experience like Bill Gates wouldn't be eligible to apply. When I worked as an FAA contractor, the basic requirement was having an MCSA certification. If I didn't have that certification, I would have been eliminated from the document screening.
In conclusion, when you are similar to or less than others, the way to stand out is to challenge yourself with computer certifications. Based on my past experience, some people say that sufficient experience is enough, but the benefits of having computer certifications cannot be ignored.
