저희는 워싱턴 벨뷰에 위치하고 있는 무역회사 입니다.

주요사업은 조선해양기자재 부분과 군수물자 및 조달청 관련 업무를 진행하고 있습니다.

 

조선해양부분은 한국에 3대 대형조선소 HHI (현대중공업), SHI(삼성중공업), DSME(대우조선해양)이  주요고객사이며, 다수의 Offshore 기자재를 납품하고 있으며, 군수물자와 조달청 부분은 미국, 영국, 유럽 등 해외 메이커의 제품을 한국에 조달하는 업무를 진행하고 있습니다.

 

현재 채용중인 공고는 기존의 조달청 업무와 함께 UN 및 US Army Procurement 분야를 진행하실 수 있는 인재를 모집하고자 합니다.

At GB International, we have been elaborating in the defense acquisition program with the South Korean Defense Administration since 2008, specializing in the procurement endeavors in a wide range of defense and military equipment projects with South Korea’s military and government agencies such as Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA), Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF), Navy, Army, Korean National Police Agency, and Korea Airport Corporation.

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

• Nurture and manage relationships with key suppliers, managing different cost reduction and productivity projects, and new program sourcing requirements
• Support efforts to establish cost-effective, long term solutions with key suppliers to optimize total acquisition cost of materials and ensure availability of required materials
• Support new project development as an integral development team member to assure the best supply solution is leveraged for the life of the project in alignment with the established sourcing strategy
• Monitor and report on the cost, and lead time per assigned project
• Utilize objective supplier performance data to drive continuous improvement in supplier base performance, including feedback to suppliers for the project and the proactive resolution of issues with suppliers
• Participate in development and maintenance of Strategic Sourcing Partnership Plan
• Any other task assigned by management

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

 

Experience:

• One (1) + year of experience in Sourcing/ Procurement, Subcontracts or other supply chain role with proven results. Or, One (1) + year of experience in Sourcing / Procurement, Subcontracts Management. (Preferred but not required for Entry Level Position.)

Skills/ Abilities:

• Time Management
• Detail Oriented
• Objective Judgement and Decision Making- Pragmatic and able to assess decisions by the process
• Relationship Building- Strong interpersonal skills with the stakeholder and with the team
• Fluency in Korean and English required
• Must be familiar with Korean Business culture

Education:

• College degree is not required

Employment Eligibility Requirement:
* Legally authorized to work in the United States
