Full Job Description

LUMI Dessert Café is a cozy and modern dessert café specializing in beautifully crafted shaved ice with creamy snow-like texture. We take pride in using quality ingredients for all our foods and drinks, while providing an inviting and unique experience to all visitors.

We’re looking for full-time candidates to join our management team. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day management in the café, and overseeing operations while preparing some of the most popular Asian desserts and drinks. The scope of this role includes leadership and training, guest experience, inventory management, staff scheduling, financial planning, and marketing.

Manager Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment
• Efficiently prepare high-quality desserts and drinks
• Ensure quality control and consistency of products
• Be attentive and engaging with customers
• Produce positive financial results and effective cash management
• Execute cost-effective marketing strategies to drive profit and sales
• Provide strong leadership
• Recruit, train and supervise staff
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety legislation/guidelines
• Responsible for restocking and inventory management
• Scheduling for all team members and ensuring cafe is staffed efficiently and effectively for smooth operation

Qualifications:

• Management experience in a quick-service, casual/family dining restaurant preferred
• Food-service experience and ServSafe Certificate strongly preferred
• Functional English is required but being bilingual is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including Nights, Weekend and Holidays
